Angels ask Abreu to explain critical remarks

What part did they not get?

Scioscia vs. Abreu is NOT a battle. It isn't even tiff. It's another player who hung on too long with a team that doesn't have a place to play him.

Scioscia should call in the GM and owner ask them why they did a 2 year $19 million contract after the guys batting average had just dropped 40 points. Why did they think he was not on the downside of his career?
It was the teams decision.

Scioscia is a very good manager, and Bobby A.'s bitching about playing time is not going to influence Scioscia's decision as to his playing time. Shut up and play better.

the reality its,,, that the preveus manager screwed with the franchise money, reagins sign pineiro two years deal, sign b, fuentes two years deal, sing rodney two years deal, sign abreu two years deal, now which player played at to their full capacity?? in my opinion was only abreu who play better than any other of the rest of players that were brought by reagins!!!

it seems as abreu understimated his own ability as a player,,,, whatever happen to that fired on his approach towards the spring trainning?? it was because the team told him that he would be used as a utility player? its this the reason why abreu its playing inh the passive mode??? can he really explain his poor interest in the game??abreu's attitude has make it even harder for the halos to trade him,, and no team would take him not even for free, with these type of stats, abreu himself looks worse than a minor leaguer rookie!!!

mike trout wouldn't be playing in the majors at least not for another season, abreu's drama has developed a great hole under abreu's feet, his poor attitude towards the game shows everything, the best thing its for abreu, play like its your last game, every time the manager put you in the halos lineup, increase your value by playing to the fullest in the smart way, stop being a complainer and do what you know in the field shutt your tongue and let your knowledge in the game do the right things in the field, contrubute towards the team, show some respect for yourself and be a PRO, for one's in your life!!!

abreu can't throw the blame to nobody else but to himself for his poor performance at the plate in every game, should he continue adding his outside problems with his playing time?? he doesn't see it?? the more he waste time pinpointing fingers the more he lose his grab on his concentration, when a person or a player allows the depression, and his anger take over him, he's lack in performance would be rated as a faillure!!!!

Take your 9 mill and be happy Bobby. You are surrounded by people who are producing more than you. Hitting .150 in the spring doesn't exactly help your case. My advice is to play the good soldier, so hopefully you can fool another team into taking your contract off our hands.
