08:13 AM ET 03.26 | No matter Amar'e Stoudemire's contribution Monday night, the Knicks' star is hurting. [Stoudemire] is dealing with lower back soreness, the second time in the last year he has been struck with back woes. During last season's playoff series against the Celtics, Stoudemire pulled a back muscle and needed the whole offseason to recuperate. He insisted on Saturday this problem isn't the same, "just muscle tightness." Even interim coach Mike Woodson, however, admitted, "I am concerned about Amar'e." ... [There] are three big issues: * One, what if the injury flares up during the morning shoot-around or in pregame warm-ups and Stoudemire can't go? * Two, what if he plays but is hampered during the game? * Three, what if he's playing fine but the injury acts up at some point and forces him to the sidelines?

It's a big game and we've been rehearsing for a while so we better come out on fire.... Talentwise Bucks don't even come close to the Knicks so if the effort is there this game should be a blow out for the Knicks.

Its a big concern as amare has finally been playing ball

Well Amare has been making up for Melo's 39% shooting. The guy is horrendous. I hope Walker gets back to claim the starting small forward spot... Melo needs to be benched. He doesn't merit the minutes he's getting....

Millions of Americans suffer from back problems. You still have healthy legs to run with, and arms to shoot with, bro.

Cant run very well without your back...the legs work in tandem with it. Its hard to predict when it flare up too, thats the part that really sux

Guy was injury prone in PHX so he was a unreliable risk from the 'get go'. Microfractures, bad back, and in general I think he's soft and would sit out a week with a hang nail.

Good luck....LMAO

Once a bad back usually always a bad back, its the center of your body so it doesnt matter if you have strong arms, legs etc.
