08:07 AM ET 03.26 | Wondering what Rex Ryan has in store for Tim Tebow? [In an NFL Network interview, Ryan] promised that the Jets will find a way to make Tebow a consistent threat as a Wildcat quarterback, possibly giving him as many as 20 snaps per game. "Tim is going to be a major contributor to our football team," Ryan said. "With the Wildcat specifically, the great thing is you don't know if we're going to run it one snap a game or 20 snaps a game -- you have no idea." ... Ryan brushed off concerns that Tebow's personality and pervasive media presence would be ill-fitted for the Jets, noting the team had its most successful season under Ryan in 2010, after being featured on HBO's "Hard Knocks."

Yes, Tebow will be a major contributor to the media circus that the Jets are turning into. It's almost unbelievable that after two trips to the AFC championship game, how far the Jets seem to have fallen so quickly.

What a sad world we live in when a nice guy may be "ill-fitted" for a group of people.

The only circus I've ever seen where the elephant is the ringmaster.

So Tebow is coming to a team that is rumbling about not wanting him, to run a limited package from a formation that the league has figured out.

Oh yeah, that'll work.

Advantage Tebow.

Opposing teams visiting this circus should bring a Wildcat tamer.

Next year in Jacksonville, when Chad Henne gets hurt.

Poor Tebow, he thought Elway was bad!!! Talk about a team not getting behind a Quarterback!

We have the Fifth Amendment for a reason. Rex, use it.
Unless you are in the military and at war then no one ever needs to explain.

Not exactly.

Tebow needs to start where-ever he plays! Especially NOT behind an overpayed & lousy QB like Sanchez!
WTH were they thinking to pay him that much when there is SO many better QB's out there for A LOT less!!!

March 26, 2012  09:43 AM ET

Ryan is a PUTZ!!! Tebow needs to be somewhere where he can play where the team & coaches will support him! They brought him there to keep others fro getting him! And yeah---they want the attention!

Agreed. I find it amazing how many people are attacking and ridiculing Tebow. What's he done that's offensive? He's doing his best with what he's got. Nobody else on this page is an NFL quarterback, making millions of dollars, or likely a serious Christian, whose only goal in life is to do the best he can with the gifts he's got. If you have a problem with that, you're simply an idiot who just loves to insult people you coulndn't possible measure up to.
