08:18 AM ET 03.27 | This time around, it was South Carolina. To Tubby Smith, coaching rumors are simply a reiteration that he's doing some things right -- and no more than that. On the day before the NIT semifinals, the Gophers coach again said he is not interested in other schools' biddings, though he doesn't hate to be reminded he's wanted amongst the basketball world. "I certainly always take it as a compliment," Smith said. "I think it tells us the respect that people have for what we do. I don't put them out there. I'm happy where I am and I think we've got a great program going. ... We're very comfortable where we are." Smith has maintained that stance even as his name has popped up in conjunction with other jobs in recent years.

Tubby doesn't cheat as much as he gets older and his recruiting is suffering from the lack of effort/ i.e. cheating

If you're happy, and you know it, then your face will surely show it. If you're happy, and you know it, clap your hands.

Highly overrated. He can't coach guards. This guy had Rondo and couldn't make the Final 4!

Smith won a championship already, that's all that matters. Recruits aren't flocking to Minnie it's too daggum cold up there. If the Gophers could get the Artist known as Prince to get on-board with recruiting then maybe Tubby would get some ballers to work with.
