08:01 AM ET 03.28 | The Giants' possible loss may be the Packers' gain. Free agent Dave Tollefson will visit with the Green Bay Packers on Thursday and Friday, according to a league source. Tollefson has come a long way since being drafted by the Packers in the seventh round of the 2006 draft. Since the Packers let him go, he developed into a key piece on the New York Giants' front four the last five seasons. While the talent in front of Tollefson prevented him from starting, he has filled in admirably when needed. With New York, he had has 81 tackles, 10 sacks and five forced fumbles. The end had his best season in 2011, helping New York weather injuries to its front four with five sacks.

The trouble with winning the Superbowl. Teams poach your starters, your coaches, even your backups. They even expect you to pay more for shoelaces.

He's a backup.

He's spending 2 days in Green Bay because there's only 1 flight per day. On the other hand, the TSA doesn't give you a hard time.

He's a very reliable player, would fit in at Green Bay well, he would fit in better in NY!

A solid back-up on that Giant DL can probably start for most teams. Of course, GB had him and let him go, so ...

He is a back-up who is on his way to becoming a starter, whether he goes to GB or stays with the Giants. I hope the Giants can keep him.
