McNabb bitter, or does he have a point?

08:03 AM ET 03.30 | Some of this ground is well-worn between Donovan McNabb, Mike Shanahan and Kyle Shanahan. During an interview on ESPN's "First Take," McNabb again ripped the father-son coaching tandem, with whom he battled over the direction of the Washington Redskins' offense during the 2010 season. McNabb believes that Mike, the team's head coach, and Kyle, Washington's offensive coordinator, will force quarterback Robert Griffin III to fit into their system instead of tailoring an offense to Griffin's strengths. ... Unfortunately for McNabb, he came across as a bitter former employee who apparently hasn't moved on from his only season with the Shanahans. Still, McNabb could have a point. We'll find out soon enough.

I couldn't believe that Donovan is bitter. He must have a good 6 years left throwing passes 5 yards short all day. I'll never understand why guys who have been great for a long time, can never understand when it's time to hang 'em up, Mouthing off and continuing to whine won't help him get work in the future either.

Philly got rid of him because of his prima donna attitude - so did the skins - so did the vikes - gawd save us from over the hill former stars who blame everyone else for their own faults - ok everybody - let's pity poor McFlab

Nabby lost it in Philly, couldn't get it in DC and sank in Minny. Hall of fame is out, so what's left.....TV or drug dealer.

Talk about an entitled spoiled jerk. McNabb- just because the Eagles and Reid bent over backwards for you does not mean that is the norm. Most teams draft or trade for players to fit their system not visa versa. I do believe the nepotism with the Shannahans is a destructive duo and if Mike retires Kyles career may end as soon, time to cut the umbilical cord Mike. Let your kid go coach in college.

From that picture, McNabb's throwing motion looks a lot like Tebow's.

The guy couldn't make it in Washington and he blames the system instead of his inability to learn it or to stay healthy enough to perform in it...just look at his completion percentage. He stunk it up in Philly at the end as well...supposedly in a system designed for him. Minnesota replaced him with a rookie...that should say something.
