08:19 AM ET 03.30 | Considering Louisville a second-best basketball team may have something to do with Adolph Rupp in Kentucky. [Rupp] had nearly as many dislikes as career victories. Somewhere high on the longtime Kentucky basketball coach's list, perhaps between suits that weren't brown and people who were, was the University of Louisville. During a 42-year career (1930-72) at the basketball-mad state's largest university, he never scheduled a game with the second-largest, preferred not even to mention its name. ... [Before schools meet Saturday], the historic Kentucky-Louisville feud figures to get more air time than Geico's lizard. And while he alone is not responsible for the enmity, Rupp, more than anyone, helped institutionalize it.

Wonder what the broadcast would be like if Bob Knight has to do the commentary for this game instead of Clark Kellogg???

kentucky would win 8-9 out of 10 times in the match up... but as we all know, Louisville needs to win just once... that's all that matters. Heck, you only have 1 in 162,000,000 chance of winning lotto, but someone wins. And we all know Louisville has better chance of beating Kentucky than winning the lotto. So there ya go
