Thibodeau denies Bulls contract squabble

09:51 AM ET 03.31 | The Bulls have had barely a sniff of controversy this season, but that harmony could be threatened. ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported Friday evening that coach Tom Thibodeau is "dismayed" by the lack of progress on a contract extension and that "his displeasure with the situation is an open secret in team circles." That jibes with what team sources said: Thibodeau has raised the topic -- his lack of an extension -- with Bulls players. Thibodeau denied that after the 83-71 victory over the Pistons, saying: "I don't know where that's coming from. I'm not worried about any of that stuff. I'm under contract. I'm fine with everything here."

QUOTE(#3):

What is bull management waiting for?Have they watched what hes done with this squad?

The Bulls roster is stacked. Even with Rose missing almost a quarter of the season the Chicago Bulls have the best record in basketball again this season. That only happens when a team has elite talent. Tom T is just a Better version of Scott Skiles.

QUOTE(#7):

I don't get why management like doing this to good coaches and players. They haven't learn from the past. It really cost the Bulls more championships. They didn't want to pay Phil, Jordan, and Pippen and now they're taking their time to sign a very good coach.

Jordan was 38 bro and Pippin was done. The bulls run was over. Regarding the current coach, he is under contract why jump the gun on an extension? As a Bulls fan I think they should see how the playoffs go vs Miami and make the call on contracts after that.
