Manning may struggle with some routes

09:49 AM ET 04.01 | Some front office men who have seen the medical records of Peyton Manning do not doubt that he can play effective football in 2012, but they do believe his arm strength likely not be what it once was. Manning's arm strength already had started to decline when he last played because of age. It is likely to decline much more now because lingering nerve damage will affect strength in his arm, particularly his triceps. The Broncos may have to take this into account with the types of throws Manning is asked to make. He may struggle with the outs and deep passes.

Manning never succeeded on pure physical talent alone. He was also the most prepared QB in the league, could read defenses, time his passes, and most always could find the open receiver.

He's gonna struggle just for the simple fact the receivers/tight ends (other than Tamme) he has now are not that experienced. Nice potential yes but injuries haven't even allowed them to play a full season. Denver better hope they stay healthy at WR/TE this year.

I know they're not in the schedule for Denver, but I would love to see him stick to Indy.

If I was Elway I kept Tebow. He could have learned a lot from Manning.
Manning has 2 to 3 years left, who's going to be their QB after him? They will be starting from scratch again

Keep Tebow? Horse$#%! The dude is not a good quarterback. Yeah, he won a playoff game, but even blind squirrels occasionally find nuts.

"He may struggle with the outs and deep passes." In other words those 2 "NFL" throws.
So he can join Sanchez, Tebow, and a host of others who do he same.

How many strong armed QB's have we seen come and fail in the NFL? Arm strength alone does not make a great QB.

My guess is that Denver will draft a QB this year or next, do they gamble with their pick at #25 and take Brock Osweller 6'7"/ 242, from AZ St. Or wait till next year when they make a move to get the #1 overall draft choice?
