Coach-in-waiting at UConn?

08:17 AM ET 04.02 | This sets up as an offseason of change in Storrs. There are transfers that might or might not happen, two important players, Jeremy Lamb and Andre Drummond, who might or might not enter the NBA draft and postseason eligibility for 2013 still to be determined by the NCAA. But for legacy's sake, the most important X-factor to reveal itself is the coach. Will Jim Calhoun return for a 27th year? Will he return with assistant Kevin Ollie as official, or unofficial, "coach-in-waiting?" Or will there be a new coach altogether? Calhoun has said something about "our future" will be announced around the end of the college basketball season. ... [That] would make the middle of next week as good a guess as any for something to happen.

They should hire Geno away from the women's game. He seems to know a thing or two.

+1...I thought Baylor should have hired Mulkey as the men's coach years ago.

I know...they were talking to UofK as well...

But if they at least get a coach it would be an improvement. Anything beside standing there with your arms crossed....

They should get Calipari. He would fit right into the ethical abyss that is UConn hoops.

They should get Calipari. He would fit right into the ethical abyss that Calhoun has created.
