08:05 AM ET 04.02 | A radio station in New York last week had touted a Tim Tebow appearance that wound up not happening. When Monday came around, the station kept listeners on the hook before it became apparent 1050 couldn't deliver the goods -- or Tebow. ... [But the station] rebounded strong Friday, when Tebow went one-on-one with [Michael Kay]. Was this the unofficial debut of a regular 1050 spot that will start next season for the Jets backup QB? Don't look for it to happen. NFL sources said the Jets have already decided to limit some of Tebow's "outside" endeavors, which would include doing a weekly radio spot. "That could change," the source said. "If Tim becomes the starter the radio thing could happen."

The only time Tebow gets is in preseason games, its his time to shine, else watch the first time Sanchez thorws interception, the calls for Tebow, the Jets sink, stink.
