08:17 AM ET 04.03 | John Calipari has his title now, and he did it with the "one-and-done" players that make his critics boil. And you know what happens next, right? Industry sources believe Calipari will probably land Class of 2012 stars Nerlens Noel, Shabazz Muhammad and Anthony Bennett to go with the other Class of 2012 stars he has already committed (Alex Poythress, Archie Goodwin, Willie Cauley). He'll then combine them with Kyle Wiltjer and N.C. State transfer Ryan Harrow and almost certainly have the nation's most talented team again next season, even though all the names and faces and eyebrows will be different. I realize that sounds crazy, but it's true.

Wonder how the coaches of the past would have done with one-and-doner's? Guys like Rupp, Wooden....would they have all those records and thus be considered the best?

I'm with you 0-6. Plus it's not like they need more years to really develop physically and be in a college weight program like in foosball. If those 19 year olds are NBA quality players let 'em go.

So if they change the headline that means it is a different thread? And the mods get credit for two instead of one?

Congrats, 0-6. Great win for your cats. A very good team of super-stars and a GREAT job of coaching to get them to play like a team.

I wonder how many final 4 teams in the past won the NC when their star player went 1-10 from the field and only scored 5 points in the championship? I bet not many. Coach Cal did a great job of getting these kids to share the ball and play a TEAM game. Love 'em or hate 'em, you gotta admit he can coach basketball and motovate players.......congrats again!

College Sports is a "win now" environment. Calapari is a genius.
