08:04 AM ET 04.04 | OTAs are fast approaching for most teams, followed shortly thereafter by mini-camp. Asked if he'll be a participant, Wes Welker said at this point, he wasn't sure. To do so, that would require him to sign the one-year franchise tender the team slapped on him. "I don't know. We'll see," Welker said when asked a short time ago, during his interview session at Nike's launch of the new NFL uniforms. "I think we'll see how things go. I don't know, we'll see." Prior to [Tuesday], all we had heard from the Patriots receiver was a tweet following the Pats hitting him with the franchise tag on how he wanted to remain with the club for a long time. When asked if there was any progress on a new deal, Welker had nothing to report.

I don't think he wants to play hard ball with Bellichick.

He'll cut his **** before the SB.

Like I've said before: If Welker wants to lose another Superbowl, NE is his best chance.

"I don't know. We'll see," "Welker had nothing to report." Now I'm informed, thank goodness.

How very witty of you junior. At least you didn't break out the "mom's basement" line.

As I mentioned on the Flacco thread, he has taken an extra dose of stupid this morning.

I'd put it at the bottom of the birdcage, but don't want to insult the bird.
