08:27 AM ET 04.04 | Philadelphia assistant coach Craig Berube joined the fray Tuesday in the public sniping between the Flyers and Penguins. [Berube] says head coach Peter Laviolette "had a right to be upset" Sunday afternoon. ... And while Berube agreed that retaliation was to be expected after Philadelphia's Brayden Schenn cross-checked Sidney Crosby, he also called Crosby and Evgeni Malkin "the two dirtiest players on their hockey team." "They slash, they punch guys in the face, they do all these little things," said Berube. "I got no problem with what Schenn does, and if somebody runs [Crosby] over, that's great, they should run him over. This guy gets away with too much in my opinion, whines to the refs all day and all night, it's a joke."

Last night, we saw the aspiring acting career of Kris Letang on display. He's currently in the lead for the 2012 PK Subban Award for Best Faking of an Injury. If I were a Pens fan, I'd be worried he's auditioning for a job in Montreal or Vancouver. What a joke...save the acting for community theater in the summer and play the effing game like a man.

We also saw AF not get an instigator penalty, and Niskanen get plowed over by a player (forget) who left his feet. Oh wait, every other team the Pens play are choir boys now.

Agreed. Bruins, or their fans, have no leg to stand on. If Neal can get under your skin cause he isn't allowed to breathe on Chara? LOL!

Neil wouldn't "man up" against Lucic or Chara, but did find someone smaller than him to go with. Lucic and Chara both challenged him earlier in the game.
Also, Neil hit someone from behind on that play, so let's not pretend that nothing happened.
It was Paille that ran over Niskanen and got a penalty for it.
As far as Letang doing the new dance craze called The Sedin, diving like that is what gets no penalties called for you further down the line. The Floppers were doing it early in the series against Boston and the refs finally had enough and didn't ever give them the benefit of the doubt.

I have no problem with Neal and Chara mixing it up. They are both big boys who can handle themselves.
As for whining...not going down that road again, I promised.

As a side note, Boychuk doesn't appear to be injured too badly, he was walking out of the Garden last night with a slight limp. He said he may not be at practice today.
Shut him down until the playoffs. Zanon is a good player and McQuaid is close to returning. Hell, call up the Providence B's at this point for all I care and have them play the next 2 games.

Paille got the penalty. There could be no 3rd man in on Ference because there wasn't anything going on with Neil at that point.

In fairness to Neal, he didn't have a choice with Ference. AF had his gloves off and was pummeling him before Neal dropped his gloves. But the rest of what you wrote is spot-on. I guarantee you that once he sees the replay, the ref who called that high-stick will need to see blood spurting from Letang's open artery before he'll call another one like that.
