Devils have a new concern

08:29 AM ET 04.04 | A little late-season run has helped the Devils to a three-game winning streak, and they've wrapped up, at least, the No. 6 seed in the East. Their bigger concern now, though, might be staying healthy. By the end of Tuesday's 3-1 victory over the Islanders they were down two forwards. They began the game without 30-goal scorer David Clarkson, who sat out with what the team is calling a "lower-body" injury. Devils coach Pete DeBoer said he expects Clarkson to skate today, but the prognosis is much worse for second-year center Jacob Josefson. The Devils say the injury-plagued 21-year-old will miss four to six weeks with a fractured left wrist accidentally caused by the stick of former Devil Jay Pandolfo 6:33 into the second period.
