08:15 AM ET 04.05 | A day after a report surfaced that Dwight Howard wouldn't mind seeing the Magic turf Stan Van Gundy and his staff, the Orlando head coach's standing took on another shade of gray. Orlando Magic CEO Alex Martins said the franchise will stick with its longstanding policy of waiting until the end of the season to evaluate the performance of coach Stan Van Gundy and General Manager Otis Smith. But Martins added that coaches and players have done an "incredibly commendable job" dealing with the rumors and speculation that have hovered over the team this season. Asked if he would consider extending the contracts of Van Gundy or Smith before the season ends, Martins responded, "We're all evaluated at the end of the season. It's consistent."

Stan is not the problem... Howard and Otis is. Stan can come to NY if the leaves the Magic. Otis is a goner for sure due to his stupid trades and lousy free agents. Howard needs to work on his free throws, jump shots and some more post up moves.

I agree for the most part. Otis should have NEVER been there after the Arenas trade.
That being said, Howard is officially the biggest whiny **** in NBA right now.

Fire SVG, keep Otis and become more irrelevant!

Magic are never going to win a title anyway!

Good morning all.

The Magic have had too many blowout type losses this year where they just haven't shown up to play their opponents. That falls upon the coach.
