08:18 AM ET 04.07 | The day after he rocked the sports world by releasing audio of a shocking pregame speech by former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, filmmaker Sean Pamphilon strongly denied that he posted the footage without legal permission. Reacting to a statement by former Saints special-teams standout Steve Gleason - the subject of one of Pamphilon's upcoming documentaries, who is suffering from ALS - that he violated their contractual agreement by failing to obtain Gleason's authorization, Pamphilon insisted "we do have a production agreement that I followed. I can't understand why Steve would think it's in his best interest to prevent me from telling the truth about Gregg Williams."

morning Comet, as I'm sitting here icing my knee because of an intentional sports injury from 30 years ago I'm totally disgusted by Gregg Williams and hope he never coaches another game in the NFL

Morning all, I bet the video portion of that tape shows Payton standing there listening and
shaking his head in agreement. Maybe Goodell played it for him at his appeal...

Pirates lost their home opener, here we go again.......

The odd part is that Steve Gleason sounds pissed off at Pamphilon for releasing the tape.
Steve, you let him into your Saints life; did you expect him to come to the table with the same unbridled loyalty to the Saints that you apparently have? Willing to hide the NO dirty laundry? Seriously?

I know how you feel. During a pick up football game in college 15 years ago, some **** went low and blew out my acl. I hope Williams is done with football forever. I hope even college programs stay away from him.

Hope your knee feels better. Ibuprofin seems to be a good friend of mine.

Wow...

Don't even know what to say about that.

That's effed up.

Oh wait, so if the film was released illegally then it really didn't happen? "nothing to see here....please move along...."

Agreed. And ... he's not the only one in the NFL. And ... this doesn't happen only in the NFL. The "win at any cost" virus has infected all sports where big money is at stake.

That's f*%king Bush League. I'm sorry you had to be in a game of sportmanship with an arschloch without any class.

At least Gregg Williams will always have the video and the game film of the 49ers greasing his defense for 36 points in his last game to remember his former career by.
