Crosby rips Rangers coach

08:24 AM ET 04.07 | Penguins star Sidney Crosby responded Friday to postgame comments made by John Tortorella, saying the Rangers coach "should worry about his own players." Tortorella referred to Crosby and teammate Evgeni Malkin as "whining stars" after Rangers forward Derek Stepan was injured when kneed by Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik in the third period Thursday. "I wonder what would happen if we did it to their two whining stars over there, so I'm anxious to see what happens with the league with this," Tortorella said Thursday. The NHL fined the coach $20,000 Friday for the comments. According to the Penguins website, Crosby said Friday, "I don't know what he's talking about. If you want, you can put a camera on us all game. You can put a camera on (Rangers captain Ryan) Callahan all game and see who's (whining) more. So he should worry about his own players."

With all the "whine" being served up by these two teams, I'm starting to feel woozy ... and the playoffs haven't even started!
If these two teams go head to head in a 7 games series I'll have to join the AA or the Betty Ford clinic for detox!

I resent these remarks about the Pens being "one of the most" arrogant teams in the league. Who is more arrogant than them? Huh? When you're the best you have a right to be arrogant and us Penguin fans have every right to be arrogant! We are rooting for the best team with the best players!

By the way. I hope everyone knows I was just kidding with my above comments. I was on vacation last week so I missed all the excitement. Saw the highlights of Pens/Flyers on ESPN and the picture of Bylsma and Laviolette going at it with Pierre McGuire just standing there between them with a dumb expression on his face was priceless.

The Pens called up a thug from Wilkes-Barre two. Some 6 foot 5, 250 pound knuckle dragger. The bad part about this is the Pens never win against the Flyers when they are trying to throw a lot of dirt. I just hope they shake it off and just play hockey in the playoffs.

Yeah. Had fun in Orlando with the wife and granddaughter even though it was too hot. 90s every day just about. Did do some fishing and caught a few bass. One went about 4 pounds.
I was thinking it was a good thing that McGuire was bald because Bylsma and Laviolette would have singed the hair off the top of his head.
