09:43 AM ET 04.07 | Eager to find a home for a new team in New York, officials from Major League Soccer met officials from the Hudson River Park Trust on Thursday to discuss a potential stadium on Pier 40 on the West Side of Manhattan. M.L.S. has looked at 19 sites in New York City and has narrowed its list to about half a dozen. The league would like to zero in on a single location in the next few months. M.L.S. prefers that its teams play in easily accessible locations like Manhattan's West Side. If Pier 40 is not feasible, M.L.S. will focus on other potential sites, including Flushing Meadows Park in Queens.

First! Because this place is deader than Ozzie Guillen's stock with the Cuban-American community. (Teh heh.)

P.S. I'm not sure who is the bigger Valencia fan today, Viajero or I.

Watching the Buttsenal--City game: Yaya Toure picks a small injury. The camera zooms in on Mancini:

Mancini: 'La Puta Vita!'

Just glad Balotelli got red. Though it was way later than he should have.

Mancini says Balotelli won't play for City again this year, and they'll try to sell him during the transfer window. This was an important game for the team, and Balotelli was trotting around the pitch like he was eating an ice cream cone in the park. Disgusting.

He should have been sent off with his studs up knee high challenge on Song!

Yes. That was a straight red, and he had three other yellow-worthy challenges, so he earned himself two-and-a-half reds yesterday.

On brighter news: Vicente Guaita es Dios. That will be all.

Once again Madrid lost points and mou refused to talk to the press after the game. He did send his lackey to do like Madrid does best: Blame the referee.
Pepe should've been red carded for an aggression.......on Arbeloa

Wait, they blamed the ref again? Ozil and Chrissy had shameless dives in the penalty box, and didn't get yellow cards. They should be thankful for that.

I did not see the game... was there some questionable calls from the ref? IMO most managers blame the ref instead of the themselves or the players for a loss.

Yes. On a Valencia counter, Pablo's shot deflected off Marcelo and went out. The ref called a goal kick instead of a corner. Definitely a bad call.

There is always questionable calls from the referee.
The worst one on this game was Pepe not getting a red for kicking Arbeloa.

Sounds like RM got the benefit of the bad calls and TSO is still complaining.... sour grapes. All though I still hope RM wins the league... no offence.

Wynalda said he thinks TSO is coming to Man City next year. If RM does not win the CL no way this happens... if they do win... maybe.

To be fair, what Jordi Alba did to Arbeola the whole game was pretty nasty too. But I don't think that's card-worthy.

Pep, sign this man!
