08:05 AM ET 04.10 | On Sunday, the young Sixers had a front-row seat for a lesson from a veteran team. On Sunday, the contenders were in the home uniform, but who was wearing road red? Playoff capable guys or early-on over achievers who have fallen back to their reality? "Younger players are still carving their own niche as players and find out who they are," Collins said of the difference in an older roster and the one he is trying to develop. "And as a coach piecing that together it is a very delicate thing. And the one thing about players today is that they are very sensitive -- they're fragile. They didn't grow up with tough coaches. I had my [butt] kicked since I was six, but it's a different time. So I treat this team very much with kit gloves."

QUOTE(#4):

Its a generational thing......Not just in sports- the majority of kids today dont know how to work and dont want to work and because they are so coddled as kids, they dont k ow how to deal with adversityit is a huge problem

It's an epidemic congress as evidenced by the leadership crisis we've had in the past decade... it's scary... very very scary! Our society has transformed to state where TV's raise kids who in turn raise their parents...

I mean it's an epidemic congress needs to address. Add the fact that lazy parents get government checks so they don't have to work and you get the picture of what we've got...
