Upheaval looms in Portland, Orlando, Washington ...

08:06 AM ET 04.12 | It's that time of year again, when contenders prepare for the second season and pretenders either try to get in or play spoiler. And also, 'tis the season for the second-class citizens of the NBA to get ready for another trip to the lottery and, quite possibly, a summer of upheaval. Portland already is searching for yet another general manager, and more teams will follow -- be it after missing the playoffs again or enduring a disappointing end to the postseason. Big changes could be coming in Orlando, Washington and Indiana (if Larry Bird decides to step down). What happens with Mitch Kupchak and the Lakers, or in the Knicks' front office, where everyone is on the last year of their contracts?

Oh yeah. That's all I want. Just get in beat the Heat. Even if we get swept in the second round that's fine. Personally I'd rather have the Knicks take out Miami than win the championship.

It's funny that so many people think that when the Heat loses the season will be finished and the team that beats them will be considered the champions of all the fans... even if they never get to the finals.

Just beat the Heat baby... someone... anyone. Yeah!

The other night the excuse was the refs. (even after Lebron took the long walk through the lane)

Just like the Heat. The Clippers haven't won anything yet.

Even though the Wolves are headed out of the the playoffs, and the team is pretty decimated with injuries, it's interesting that they aren't lumped in some of the other bottom feeders in this article. Given they finally have a coach who knows what he's doing in Adleman and some solid young players in Love, Rubio, and Williams, it'll be interesting to see how they can develop with a proper training camp and a normal season next year.

Portland, Orlando, Indiana and the lakers are bottom feeders? T'wolves fans must truly be dillusional. Minnesota has always been and will always be an NBA bottom feeder. As for Adelman it's really sad that his hall of fame credentials will take a hit because of this stint in Minnesota. He was a hall of fame coach in Portland and Sacramento. There was no reason for him to take the minnesota job at this point in his career.
