08:09 AM ET 04.12 | With Kobe Bryant nursing a sore shin, well, the timing couldn't be much better for Metta World Peace's offensive game to to return. [Andrew Bynum] actually wasn't thrilled that his shooting wasn't sharper, but the NBA season-high 30 rebounds he collected in the Lakers' 98-84 rout of the Spurs dazzled everyone around him. Equally awe-inspiring was the Metta World Domination: 26 points with five 3-pointers on 10-of-15 shooting for the much-maligned forward averaging 6.7 points. World Peace has been a different player lately, and he said the difference is that he is over last season's back problem that caused nerve damage, which along with a sore Achilles' tendon limited his mobility.

It's easy for Bynum and MWP to do this when they don't have Kobe putting up 25-30 shots per game.

QUOTE(#8):

Could be good or bad depending on how Kobe adjust to what the supporting cast is doing. The supporting cast might revert back to letting Kobe take all the shots he wants. That's why the answer is "it depends on what Kobe does".

There is no "depends on what Kobe does" because guys like him and Carmelo just can't stand around and watch others shoot more than them. Not saying those two don't deserve to shoot more, because they do, but don't try to go out every game and put up more shots than the rest of the starting five combined.

LOL, what the hell does Kobe have to do with Bynum's 30 boards??? Bynum already said his offensive game wasn't all that good (16 points), Bynum had only 8 offensive board.

anyone else think LA should leave Kobe on the shelf for the last 10 or so games of the season? He'd be well rested for the playoffs.

Seems to work pretty well for the Spurs most years!!!!

LOL, forgot that I included Bynum in this. He has everything to do MWP playing like the ol' Ron Artest.
