08:04 AM ET 04.13 | Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas said he didn't want to "talk bad" about Tim Tebow. But his comments on an Atlanta radio show Wednesday could certainly be construed that way. Thomas told 790 The Zone that he wasn't upset to see Tebow traded to the New York Jets after the Broncos signed Peyton Manning. "I ain't going to say I was sad because the only thing they (fans) remember is that pass," said Thomas, referring to the playoff game-winning touchdown pass in overtime against the Pittsburgh Steelers. "You gotta go back and look at the rest of the games. I wasn't getting no balls and you had to make some of these plays where some players were open and he is not making the throws. But I don't want to talk bad about Tim, but hey I am happy we got Peyton."

I love the media twist here. I wouldn't say he was talking badly. Anyone who watched those games that wasn't holding a bible in their hand (I'm not bashing) could see that he wasn't a good QB. I think he's a good person who can rally people but give that D a bit of credit for saving the team when it needed it.

Can't wait until Holmes with the Jets gets some game time with him. He thought Sanchez was erratic?

I'm thinking Hard Knocks: The Regular Season. That's when I want to really see what's happening in that organization.

Georgia Tech. 'Nuff said.

"I wasn't getting no balls" says Thomas.

Does this guy have a college degree or a HS diploma?

Do they teach English at Ga Tech?

April 13, 2012  09:08 AM ET

First off, this guy shouldn't be talking as he's still pretty much a nobody in the NFL. Secondly, Tebow just wins, period. You can talk all you want about how it's the Defense that helped them out but that's their job. Furthermore, I didn't see Defensive players on the field during the offense's time on the field.

Not to the athletes.

GA Tech in downtown Atlanta ... it's the local dialect.

the same defense that was on the field when they were going 1-4 with Orton?

Improbable maybe but sometimes a changing of the guard can make a big difference. Ineptness is sometimes the result of leadership. An offensive spark (no matter how small) can still be enough to light a fire throughout the team. That can't be sustained long-term but it was enough to make a run into the playoffs.
