08:11 AM ET 04.13 | A trend has emerged in Texas, where 37-year-old Joe Nathan has been pitch perfect with rest and anything but without it, leading some to wonder whether Mike Adams might be seen more often. Rangers manager Ron Washington has a word to describe the current state of [Adams'] command. "Crazy," Washington said. "It's just crazy." And that was before Adams threw 14 of his 18 pitches for strikes while picking up the save in the Rangers' 5-3 win over Seattle. Adams has now appeared in five games for the Rangers and has thrown 54 of 69 pitches for strikes. ... While Nathan said he felt fine on Wednesday, he acknowledged Thursday that it will become important for both he and the Rangers to closely monitor how he recovers the day after pitching.

There's no controversy. The Rangers knew that they would have to monitor Nathan's health closely, even before signing him.

What will they do?!?!!

A "closer" that can't handle two innings in two days??????

the rangers, can do whatever they would like to do, they have enough relievers and anybody could do the job, there itsn't anything impossible here!!!

I think its a little early to panic on Nathan, since he only has 4 appearances. By that logic the Rangers should send Moreland, Andrus, Cruz and Napoli to triple A, since they are all hitting south of the Mendoza line.

Could be worse...

Ask Angels fans.

So the Rangers problem right now is that they have 2 closers? Wow... a lot of teams don't even have one right now!
