08:18 AM ET 04.13 | Steve Spurrier likes a challenge, and winning at South Carolina was a challenge. "My buddies all told me when I came here, 'Steve, nobody's won there. What makes you think you can? That's really all I needed to hear." ... His thoughts on the Georgia-South Carolina game moving from the second week of the season to the sixth week in 2012. "I don't know. I sort of always liked playing them that second game because you could always count on them having two or three key players suspended." His thoughts on Nick Saban and what he's done at Alabama. "He's got a nice little gig going, a little bit like (John) Calipari. He tells guys, 'Hey, three years from now, you're going to be a first-round pick and go.'"

TOBC....always count on him.... LOL

Although he speaks the truth about the UGA game, he has no room to talk about player punishment. At least UGA punishes their players, how many times did Garcia get into trouble and was still on the field come Saturday?

tOBC can still throw out the zingers! He probably wishes he had Phil around though. It was easy to throw them at him.

Yes Sir, they are the favorite in the SEC this year, east or west. They will own it all.

Comparing Saban and Calipari was spot on.

Calipari is much taller.

He's old and harmless, and not really relevant. I think he's funny. The only similarity between him and John, though, is that they won the NC in the most current season. Don't really see any other similarities so not sure what he meant there.

That's what I was thinking. They've got the quick ammo reload thing down pat.

Fixed it for clarity.

Phil made a nice, BIG target. The orange outfits just made it that much easier to see for aiming purposes.

Calipari doesn't have a nice robins-egg-blue leisure suit, either, I bet.

No doubt. You can be sure all of the coaches know who are the cheating-est, dirtiest. I'd compare those two and put calhoun and chip kelly in the next group.

Men's BB coach at Baylor too...from what my sources at Jerusalem on the Brazos tell me.

If Les eats grass, does that mean the new men's bball coach should eat wood?

The Old Ball Coach talks the talk, but can he walk the walk?

No. But he's a legend in the SEC where talking the talk is .... oh nevermind.
