08:23 AM ET 04.13 | On Thursday morning in the Penguins dressing room, some reporters were surprised to find a lack of anger after the team's Game 1 collapse. Does that mean the even-keeled, veteran Penguins are focused? Or does that mean they don???t have the hunger that their younger counterparts possess? The answers will be provided in the upcoming days. On Wednesday, the Flyers overcame a 3-0 deficit and scored a stunning 4-3 OT win at the Consol Energy Center. "We know that game is over and we have to move on," Pittsburgh superstar Sidney Crosby said in a low tone after Thursday???s practice. Crosby said the Flyers didn???t do anything surprising.

Crosby said the Flyers didn't do anything surprising.

Guess Crosby expected to lose.

Maybe the Pens should try playing from an 0-3 deficit in game 2.

This is just getting worse, so really obvious I am not a Pens fan but really??

If they were to be screaming and yelling the media would say they lost it and dont have composure a winning team needs, but now since they are handling it the smart way as recent a Stanley Cup winner would know, its ONE game, what is there to panic about unless its a best of 3???

no you don't

I am kind of surprised he thinks the Flyers would have to pull out some trick to try and beat them, wonder if he think they are just that good, or the Flyers are that bad...

Why is this such 'big' news that the Pens lost. I think too many people underestimate the Flyers.

I didn't think it was big news, I didn't think it was a good matchup for the Pens to begin with.

Kind of sounds that way to me too.

This is stupid.

How should one show anger toward oneself because he skated 20 min's instead of the full 60?

and I think there was maybe a bit of hubris too. Let's face it, a lot of folks thought Pittsburgh was the team to beat. They came in hot. I also agree that they may have underestimated Philly. But it indeed, only game one

I'll say this, Pittsburgh came in "hot" because they were playing teams that were not playing for anything. They also gave up 18 goals in 3 games, 2 to the Islanders and one to Ottawa.

That defense is pretty suspect, and has been for a while.

This is going at least 6 games, game 1 just showed if you have your foot on someones throat, step down.

Well said. They're handling it like a team that's been there before, largely because they've been there before. Drop the puck already.

QUOTE(#18):

The Pens played Philly twice, Boston, and the Rangers all in the last 2 weeks of the season.

They went 1-1 against Philly, played Boston when they didn't care and the Rangers weren't playing for much either.

They also might have friggatriskaidekaphobia.
