08:24 AM ET 04.13 | Jay Feaster just made his summer a bit more hectic in parting ways with Brent Sutter. A couple of candidates stand out already. Anyone in the hockey world can play connect-the-dots: Troy Ward. Only a couple of days ago, Feaster had been raving about the job Ward is doing with the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. Now, suddenly, there's an opening with the big club. "Obviously, one of the people that we would speak with," said Feaster. 'He's done such a great job -- and we've talked about that. At the same time, we'd like to see a nice, long playoff run in Abbotsford. So we're asking him to keep his eye on the ball there." ... [Bob Hartley] and Feaster go back to their days with the AHL Hershey Bears in the late-1990s.

you know, the Rangers played a really good game last night, actually a good microcosim of their season...and we get a thread on who may or may not be coaching in Calgary next season? What, because Tortella didn't blow a fuse, the NYR game doesn't matter? i think they made a big statement last night

Now Sutter can spend all the time with his family and farm, which is what he always wanted anyway. Red Deer will have their coach back

I always liked Bob Hartley, the psychologist, not the coach.

So appropriate for an action like that to fall on Friday the 13th.

I forget her name but she's the voice Edna Krabapple on the Simpsons. Probably made a lot more money there too. And she did have a great face for radio. :-)
