09:15 AM ET 04.13 | There's likely much more than we'll know to Lamar Odom's parting with Dallas. There's also way more than has been reported about the link between Odom and Golden State, and those details have many thinking the disgruntled forward is much more than "on the radar" or a "long shot" for the 2012-13 Warriors. Here's the key: Warriors assistant coach Jerry DeGregorio is as close as anyone to Odom. DeGregorio coached Odom in high school, college and the pros and has been like a father to him since Odom was a 16-year-old prospect from South Jamaica, Queens, N.Y. DeGregorio was the best man in Odom's September 2009 wedding to Khloe Kardashian. ... DeGregorio had gotten to know Odom at New York youth basketball camps.

The big and ugly Kardashian could play for him.

I would love for Cleveland to make a play to get him. Jameson is leaving, he would help the Cavs a lot.

he is still a bum.....

lol...why would he even considering playing in Cleveland? if he hated being in Dallas he would def hate cleveland...I mean after he visited the Rock n Roll HOF a few times the only thing to do there is to get robbed and look at rusted buildings....

I hope Odom gets his head together and turns this nonsensical downward spiral around! I like the guy and know he's capable of being an awesome player!

I also appreciate him helping contribute to two titles for the Lakers. Good luck L.O.

Nah, I don't think so.

Lamar needs to get away from the "Krapdashian" Reality TV show and focus on his game....no matter how easy the show might be to do, this move to Dallas, his whiny wife, and his baby making stresses on public TV has to be a negative factor.........he has proven talent.........he just needs to get the distracting trash out of his life.....(I am not suggesting that he end his marriage, just saying that he has to manage it better so that it is a positive and not a negative).

Kris Humphries is looking at Lamar and thanking his lucky stars he got divorced.

I'll be so damn glad when the season is over and we can trade or release this worthless piece of crap...

April 13, 2012  11:16 AM ET

He's always been a sensitive little softy, going through stuff in life and always having a heavy heart therefore letting that stuff interfere with his on-court demeanor. If it's one thing he should've learned from Kobe is to use basketball as a refuge, or release from whatever is eating away at your soul. If you're angry, go out on the court and take that frustration out on your opponent. I gues he isn't built that way. He more than Ron Ar.... umm.... Metta World Peace needs a therapist. Whomever is gonna sign this guy needs to sit him down and have a long talk with him before even offering him a contract.
