C.J. Wilson: Rangers 'wasted' his time

08:01 AM ET 04.14 | C.J. Wilson may be gone, but he apparently doesn't want to be forgotten. On the Dan Patrick radio show this week, Wilson said the Rangers "wasted his time" during free agency before he ended up signing with the Los Angeles Angels. Wilson signed a five-year, $87 million deal with Los Angeles. He had been seeking a deal of six years and more than $100 million. "They are entitled to do whatever they want," Wilson told Patrick. "It's their money. I just ... the only thing I was to get upset about was that they kept saying, 'Oh hey, we are going to make an offer. We are going to come at you or whatever and they didn't.' "It kind of wasted my time, which I feel like especially in the off-season my time is invaluable because the longer the off-season the more fun things I can do. "If I was able to make a decision in early November, then that would have been a lot easier for me. They dragged it out a month making me think they were going to make an offer, but the fact that they didn't is no big deal."

Maybe if you didn't waste their time in the World Series with your stupid hobbies like racecars and photography and actually focused on pitching, they might have gotten something done with you. And quit tweeting about how good it is in Anaheim. We know you are masking that you miss the best guys in baseball. Go race your stupid cars and pitch every fifth day and ****!

Don't fall into the trap that reporters set for you, CJ. Time to shut up and help the underachieving team you're now working for.

I'm just pondering SI's front page drubbing of the Red Sox yesterday (when they won 12-2) and then on their knees all over an aging A-Rod today because he actually did his job and hit a homer.

Maybe if you could win a game in the postseason, they would have thought more about extending you an offer, dude.

Ungrateful p.o.s. Had the Rangers left him in the bullpen he would still be a middle of the road reliever.

the angels would need to score more than a lousy 9 runs, to beat new york and any other team, the halos would need to become an RBI machine and every hitter should be demanded to be tight disciplined unless they would like to be in the last place in their division for the rest of the season!!!!!
