Will Robinson wear No. 1 for Michigan?

08:13 AM ET 04.16 | The No. 1 at Michigan is generally associated with the program's most elite wideouts, and Brady Hoke said the program would consider handing it out this season. But what about the prospects of senior quarterback Denard Robinson wearing it? It's an idea that has been endorsed by former receiver Braylon Edwards, who was the last player to wear the No. 1 and has endowed a scholarship fund for it. ... It remains, though, an unlikely proposition. Robinson, for his part, seemed caught off-guard by the idea. "That's an off-the-wall question," he said. "Sixteen is my number. I feel it's a receiver thing, but if they wanted to give it to me, I don't know what I'd do with it."

Played with a guy that was so skinny when he wore his #11 jersey he looked like #1. He had a #1 on the front/back and #1s on each side.
