Sharks making lineup changes after fight fest

08:21 AM ET 04.16 | Dominic Moore wound up on the wrong side of Vladimir Sobotka's temper, though he and his broken nose are likely available to the Sharks. Sharks coach Todd McLellan hinted that there might be some lineup changes coming for Game 3. But of course he wasn't about to signal what they might be. Any alterations, though, likely would be about getting a bigger team on the ice to confront the Blues' physical play. Obviously among McLellan's options are Michal Handzus, Brad Winchester and Colin White. "We have to look at some of the players who we haven't used yet to see if they'll make a significant difference," McLellan said. "We have some size there. But when you give up a little speed for size, the game tempo changes."

I heard Joe Thornton took boxing classes yesterday.

Unfortunately, the bag won in 2 rounds.

None BF...............at the other series it's sort of like recess between periods. Guys bring cookies (to share of course) and tell stories about their summer vacation last year. You Pennsylvania teams are the only meanies in the group!

Enough with this underachieving Sharks team. They have had their chances. Move aside and let this overachieving Blues team through to the next round.

Blues are doing exactly what I expected out of them. Solid, hard team.

Will we see any goals scored in regulation if they do?

I think Drew Doughty would disagree. Thornton has been challenging Backes to a fight each game of the series.

The Sharks earned a split on the road and now have home ice advantage. This series is far from over. Game 3 will be huge.

He'd better hope Backes doesn't agree. He'll get his ashes hauled.
