Vigneault headed to Montreal?

08:23 AM ET 04.16 | On the brink of elimination, the Presidents' Trophy winners are now facing an uphill battle -- one Mike Gillis seems to be losing. All the kid-glove treatment the GM got for the absurd lifetime contract he gave [Roberto Luongo] ... because one golden payoff was all it would take to make the subsequent suffering worthwhile? All the credit [Alain Vigneault] had in the bank after years of progress and regular-season prosperity? Gone, are we to believe, if the Canucks lose to the Kings? Perhaps he'd survive, but perhaps not. Maybe the coach wouldn't be fired, per se, maybe it would be one of those Brent Sutter-Calgary Flames mutual partings, with Vigneault resurfacing days later as the (francophone, of course) coach of the Montreal Canadiens.

A little love for those LA Kings. Dustin Brown is having a great series.

Kings and Flyers both had good matchups in the first round.

So, Kings for the West? This one has really shocked me. Far more than the Flyers/Pens (and I credit people in here who questioned Pittsburgh's D, they were dead on).

Surprised that L.A. is leading? Not so much. Up 3-0...yeah, that's a bit of a shock. I did say that this Canucks team didn't have the "stomach" (yeah, geography isn't my best subject) to get through to the finals
this could be anothetr teamthat looks VERY different next season, especially if The Kings have the brooms out

A somewhat strange first round in both Conf., for sure.
Hats off to the Kings - the riot will come early this year

The Sedins won't be there, they don't like anything that resembles violence

Maybe Richards and Carter are going back to philly and playing for the cup.

That Richards trade seems to be one of those win win trades.

QUOTE(#17):

Those mountains nearby would be on fire. They'd ferry themselves to Victoria and blow ish up. They'd turn the Skytrain into a rapid missile of death. BURROWS WOULD BE ELECTED PM!

While passing the CUP from player to player, trying to get it to Luongo, it would keep missing him also
