08:14 AM ET 04.19 | A recent 2013 football recruiting ranking listed Michigan with the most commitments in the top 150 with 11, sparking material for both the bulletin board and the calendar. The Wolverines -- coming off a Sugar Bowl win and expected to have a high preseason ranking for this fall -- are a national focus. But that doesn't seem to bother Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio, and he made that clear in an interview posted [Wednesday] morning with espn.com. ... "We're laying in the weeds," Dantonio says. "We've beat Michigan the last four years. So where's the threat?" U-M later responded on its football Facebook page: "Bulletin board material? Check. ... See you Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Big House."

It is a bit silly.

What are they going to argue about, which school has the biggest, pastiest chicks? Which part of the state is falling off the economic cliff fastest?

QUOTE(#5):

Michigan State scares the piss out of me this year. They have to replace their entire passing attack. QB, all WRs, all their TEs...but dammit if their running game isn't going to be a force and their defense will be the best featured in the Big10 for the second straight year.Odds are they'll make our visit to East Lansing a night game, it'll be the roughest game till Oklahoma that's for sure.As for them and Michigan. For all of Derpnard's wild success against us, Michigan State absolutely owns his ass. They gameplan for Derpnard is immaculate. I just don't see Michigan beating the Spartans till they get a QB that fits Borgess system

Game wise, MSU always seems to have the best game of their season when they play ND.

Michigan State? Ehhh, Michigan does. We're 2-1 against Sparty the last two years and the one loss was "Little Giants"Sparty absolutely owns Michigan, the last 4 years haven't been as close as the score would indicate

Sparty has a bit of aTm in them. Would be happy with a 1-11 season if that win was against big brother.

Yep, I think that the wolverines will take advantage of a cyclical power shift in the great lakes state in the next few years.

Actually the girls at state aren't bad. AA is another story. And the Michigan economy is actually doing well and continuing to improve. What else you got?

Yes, Michigan owns ND and will again this year. MSU will have trouble scoring points this year and the streak will be broken.
