Sources tell 5News Sports that Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll was contacted by Arkansas officials about the Hogs Head Coaching opening, but turned them down. Carroll could not survive in the SEC, he nneds a patsy conference like he had.

That ought to stir up the left coasters.

Is Carroll on the hot seat in Seattle? I wouldn't think he'd be willing to even listen if his job at Seattle is still viable.

Man, I have no clue. Lots of "additional" donations from the top donors in Arky....feels like they are raising a big salary for a big hire, but I don'ty think Fulmer fits that bill. I just don't see Arky gettig Gruden, Carroll, or any other NFL guy making $7 mill a year.

I still think we PROBABLY name an interim coach and hope there are more candidates in November....

He commented he loved living in NW Arkansas, and he thought the Arky fight song was great. People tried to read things in to those comments.......He's not coming to Fayetteville, never was IMO.

Me thinks anything other than this gives the appearance of a panic hire.

Not for another couple of hours...they aren't awake yet.

Unless OT has to "make water"....

Bah, watching the games all the SEC fanbases (barring Vandy and now TAMU) have more than a fair share of PYTs. Don't know if PC has a motorcycle though.

Hey, I resemble that remark!

PC has too much baggage for Arky. Coed rumors and the Bush probation-no way they pursue him.

Anyone will listen, sometime listening will get you a raise, but not in this case.
