09:19 AM ET 04.21 | In this most desperate of times for the Blackhawks, coach Joel Quenneville is sending a message loud and clear to his top players. Asked Friday about his team's play during its first-round playoff series against the Coyotes - in which the Hawks trail 3-1 entering Game 5 on Saturday night in Glendale, Ariz. - Quenneville simply said, "I've been happy with (Dave) Bolland's line." That covers Bolland, Bryan Bickell and Michael Frolik (and rookie Andrew Shaw before he was suspended after Game 2). Conspicuous in their absence from Quenneville's limited praise were top-six forwards Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp.

That's about right. First the Preds advance and now the Yotes are about to.

What, no comment about his gumper...Boedker's OT goals never should have happened.

Funny how the first one was pretty much a carbon copy of Kane's Stanley Cup winner!

Toews: "Oh no..i shouldnt have trusted that fart" hahahahhahahahah.

Phoenix is better defensively and in net...that trumps everything Chicago can throw at them.

I feel bad for Crawford, his 2 weak goals are the reason they are in such a deep hole.

And they should have sent Keith after Smith instead of Shaw.

Very true, but does Chicago even NEED OT in those two games if Hossa's around??

dont really care one way or another, I just feel bad for Crawford because he's a nice guy and we grew up playing together. I always wish him well, while at the same time I dont give a damn about his team...

how the keith hit was no like a 20 gamer is perhaps the biggest mystery of all. Id have a very hard time finding a more flagrant attempt to injure another player.

I watched some of the Pens/Flyers last night and Malkin does seem to have a fetish for hitting guys that are already engaged in contact with another player and doing it from behind or the blindside as well. I'm not sure how sad I would be if someone croaked him.

25 is the number of games the Yotes have left if every series they could be in from here to the Cup finals goes 7 games.

Courturier needs to learn to stop interfering with the Pens forwards when there going for the puck. He turned into Neal as Neal was going for the puck and got blasted. Neal obviously couldn't avoind him, he even jumped to try to get out of his way, but still made contact. Now he tries to interfere with Malkin and he got bumped again. I have no idea how they called that interference on Malkin because the puck was right in front of him. I have to admit that Courturier learned his lessons well in the Flyer school of diving because he looks like he was mortally wounded after both bumps. Seriously they must teach them to fall face down to the ice after the slightest contact, because the are all doing it.

I'd take the turnbuckle everyday cuz we all know wrestling is fake!

On the flipside, having a 215 pound missile launched off his skates at my head...no thanks.
