08:20 AM ET 04.22 | Each time Blake Griffin answered a question after practice Saturday, he moved his entire body in that direction, a sign that his neck was stiff and still sore from the flagrant-two foul committed against him by Phoenix center Robin Lopez during Thursday night's game. For the last two days, there have been a lot of discussions about what more Griffin or his teammates should do to prevent those types of hard fouls. Griffin was asked whether more should be done. "Not really," he responded. Griffin has been warned by his teammates that the physical play in the playoffs only intensifies. "It's funny. Some people on the outside said I've got to get used to the hard fouls because that's how it's going to be in the playoffs," Griffin said. "But my teammates are saying how it's been all year is how it's going to be in the playoffs. So I think I'm kind of prepared for that from that aspect. "

The staredowns have become the norm in sports. What happened to bygone days of Bird running up and down the court telling Dr. J how many points he has scored. Or Claude Lemieux trashing talking. Conrad Dobler having a snack in the middle of a tackle?

Robin Lopez committed a totally flagrant foul.

As bad as it looked, I don't think Lopez was trying to hurt Blake, he did come down on his neck with the forearm, but I still think he was going for the ball. Just my opinion.

Hard fouls are part of the game I grant this, but a lot of these fouls against Blake have been total bush league and Stern should have done something by now........10-25 games suspensions. I know some may think this is excessive but if nothing is done someone is going to get seriously injured. Secondly, if nothing is done by Stern to curve this, if I'm the head coach of the Clippers I instruct a 12th or 13th man to completely take out the oppisite team's star without any care or regard and gladly take the suspension and fine, enough is enough. I mean did you not see the thuggery displayed by the Heat against the Bulls.....completely bush league and I don't like either team, I'm a diehard Knickerbocker. D. Wade has become a whinning crybaby and of late, seems to be always in someones face. I mean he flings his arms and legs on every shot attempt in the lane. He iniitiates 901% of the contact 90% of the time. It's sickening to see him doing this. I wish someone would break his jaw......I know its wrong to wish hurt on someone, but I will make an exception for Wade as a result of his antics the past two years........Lebron influenced pouting.

Hard fouls? What about the hard dunks that initiate the sooooo called hard fouls? You get what you start.....

Translation:"Waa, sniff, sniff, waa, mommy, waa......."Shut the ___up alreadyIf you tey to posterize everyone with every dunk, you will continue to be HAMMERED. So either take it like a man, or stay out of the lane

There is a line though from hard fouling ppl and trying to hurt them....and grabbing guys around the neck and cliths lining them is uncalled for....if you font want to get dunked on then get out of the lane.
