UCLA QB picture remains murky

08:24 AM ET 04.22 | UCLA's quarterback situation seemed to gain some clarity, yet remained murky. Kevin Prince, Richard Brehaut and Brett Hundley received all the work in the brief team scrimmage Saturday. Jerry Neuheisel was given time in situational 11-on-11 drills. Nothing, though, was said to have changed. "What I have to do is go watch he film," Coach Jim Mora said. "The old coach's cliche." Offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone added, "I'm going to have to give you coach-talk. I have to watch the film." Yes, the coach-speak was in midseason form, even if the passing wasn't always. Prince, Brehaut and Hundley all threw make-you-cringe passes that were intercepted. Prince and Brehaut were both picked off at the end of practice, spoiling what had been decent days by both.

I still can't believe they hired Mora! He can't recruit worth a dime, average at best with the X's and O's.....Guerrero is a moron.

80 yard practice field....Gimme a break!!

OK DC, any thoughts on what to do with LUS, we won 2 of 3!!!! Yeah!!!! We did LET them win one game, so he can not complain too bad. LOL

It'll take them a while to right the ship. Slick Rick should've been canned two~three seasons back. Ucla needs to recruit better athletes, they've been getting dregs er leftovers after USC, Oregon, Stanford and even UW.

They're even being outrecruited by Pepperdine.

If anyone ever reads this I will be shocked.

How did the QB situation seem to gain some clarity when they had 4 different guys playing the same position during spring practice? And they all threw cringing interceptions at the end. This is UCLA football. Seems like business as usual.

My only complaint UCLA football right now is that the Bruin Nation isn't behind their sage and passionate head coach. It sucks to wish ill on a program where their disloyal fanbase isn't even emotionally invested in their team or head coach, before his first game!!!! Gone are the days of promised glory and the infinite defense of the indefensible during the Neuhiesel Error. Now all we have are Irish fans to laugh at, and realistically, they're better off today than they were 4 years ago, and that's not just because Obama has been the countries greatest president of the last 100 years.

Yah, kinda sad that USC totally owns them and that Utah is ahead of them in the pecking order for the next 2 seasons at least. Games against ASU and Arizona should be close and at least UCLA doesn't suck as hard as the Buffs.

As an aside, isn't Kevin Prince about 38 years old now?
