08:09 AM ET 04.23 | Chris Paul's time in the labor trenches may serve him well. The National Basketball Players Association Executive Committee is trying to push out its president, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Derek Fisher, for reasons not fully explained, with [Paul] emerging as a potential replacement. NBPA vice president and Washington Wizards guard-forward Maurice Evans told USA TODAY Sports on Sunday that Paul would have to be nominated and elected. Until that could happen, executive committee first vice president and Boston Celtics guard Keyon Dooling would be interim president. "We can't, by bylaws, say who is going to be the president; that would have to go to a vote," Evans said. " Chris Paul's name may circulate."

I like Fish, he should stay. There should be a rule on who gets the job. They must have a BA in business, political science, or something.

Hunter: "Since Fisher no longer a Laker and not in LA where I can bug him every day, lets push him out. Pick CP3, he is in LA."

Distraction for OKC and Fisher. Does he call Fisher's home asking for him? Only phone number he has? Can fly to OKC for a weekend?

NBA is corrupt. This Hunter guy has like 7 family members working for the union with great salary. and he wants to hate on Fisher, who is the only one in the union that has moral character and integrity? what a joke. stern and hunter are scumbags.
