Kalil slipping to the Bucs?

I don't think anyone in Minnesota knows who they'll draft. As usual, they don't have a clue.

I'm starting to believe that Matt Millen is operating in Minnesota under the pseudonym Rick Spielman.

If the ViQueens draft a WR, I will agree.

The headline could read "Vikings Preparing to Make Another Mistake."

Tough call. You should still be able to get a very good OT prospect early in the second round. Will be interesting. And remember, it is Colt McCoy you are protecting. Really, should your fence be that much better than your house?

That means the Vikings will draft a wide receiver who will be a bust, then threaten to kill his mother for owing him a few bucks.

Frazier and Spielman have many problems with an aging, porous D. Where do you start? On the O, a WR helps out. Kalil is the long-term best prospect, but Frazier and Spielman need highlights NOW or they're out of their jobs sooner rather than later. Signs point to Blackmon.

I would assume by his high ranking that Kalil is also a good run-blocker. Since Adrian Peterson is a more important weapon than Christian Ponder, getting help for the running game should also be an important consideration.

But, we're talking the Vikings here. No point in thinking common sense will prevail.

Yeah. It's sort of like musical chairs. There are 3 quarterbacks in the NFC North, and 4 teams. The only way the Vikings can change that math is to move to LA, swap divisions with the Rams, and change their name to the Conquistadors.

Maybe the Vikings are waiting to see who is available when they pick... ;-)

Vikings are going to take Kalil. It is just Spielman trying to gather enough interest for a trade of 1st round picks so he can get another 2nd round pick.
