Lundqvist accusation overshadowed by Neil's threat

And catching someone with their head down isn't clean? It's not like he's saying he's going to Torres his ass (although I wouldn't put it past him).

So Lundqvist didn't think they should have won last night? Or is that the excuse this series has gone to 7?

Sounds like something that happens in prisons.

And Hank was right about the officiating, but this isn't on the video guys in T.O. There was interference and a kicking motion. But video replay can't be used for penalties, and the available video didn't conclusively prove that it wasn't a part of Lundqvist's pads or paddle that put the puck in, although it obviously wasn't. It's unfortunate. But after a game you won, don't complain about on-ice matters. Bad karma.

The entire hockey world was.

Boy, Chicago's dismantling has really taken a toll on that team.

I for one am not overly surprised that there are still 3 series going on and only one T&R about teams still in it (and two about the nucks)

Agree with you here......I think the emotion/frustration that they got within 1 and would still have a chance with 30+ seconds left on the clock.....

here's what i saw: The "distinct kick"? too tough to call. there was a lot of jostling there, and I wouldn't have had an issue if that were the only problem. I believe the phrase "inconclusive" can be applied to the kick. MY issue was neil pushing henrik away with his stick, a trick that works very well on ice. As for his threat afterwards, he is a punk. I noticed he was never anywhere near Rupp. Threaten a goalie? Tough guy, right? He is bent out of hape because he got railed. I think the fact that he was hit legally threw him off kilter, because he is such a cheap shot artist, he thinks everyone hits like he does.

Oh, that would be funny, if it were any other team than Boston.

Like I've said before, I see Boston trading Thomas this off-season for a decent package. They are convinced Rask is their goalie, why not start when you can get something of value for Thomas, then you can leave Anton as the backup and keep him from going back to the KHL.

My take on it. According to who I was watching, they can't overturn the pushing of a goalie after the whistle, that's an on-ice call.

As far as the kicking motion, you can't tell if he actually made contact with the puck. It looks like whatever motion he was doing was over before the puck went by the skate, and if he actually kicked the puck, the puck would be ahead of the skate, not behind it.

Neil is a punk, but I'm not breaking new ground here.
