Loughery: 'They might be the worst team ever'

08:07 AM ET 04.25 | In an unfortunate game of takes-one-to-know-one, the 1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers are gaining some attention these days. Those 76ers went an abysmal 9-73 to put up the worst winning percentage in NBA history at .110. But if the Charlotte Bobcats lose their final two games to finish 7-59, that's .106, and Philadelphia would be out of the record book. "Talent-wise, they might be the worst team ever," Kevin Loughery, who coached the 76ers during the second half of their Keystone Kops-like campaign, said of the Bobcats. "We had more talent than they did." Wouldn't it be the ultimate computer game to feed in the rosters of those 76ers and these Bobcats to see who would come out on top? Or, better stated, on bottom.

Does this make Jordan the worst owner ever, as well?

Look who they drafted in the last 2 yrs. DJ and Kemba Walker? 2 back up pg at best in the league as their starters.

Yeah, they pretty much stink! MJ should go after Howard now.

If I was MJ, I would have said to the whole team.. "Have the night off on me! Then I would have immediately brought in the whole D league team and see what they can do against an NBA team. Might as well do something unusual since they lost that many games in a row!

Yes they had, look at the Spurs, you're telling me that the Bobcats were not able to get Khawi Lehnard or Danny Green ? Look at Diaw, according to Silas he was the problem in Charlotte, when actually he was certainly the most talented player on the team. Actually, look at the roster and tell me who is better than him.

With good scooting, you can find great players in the draft outside the top5, so don't tell me they had no choice. A guy like Nico Batum was drafted after the 15th pick, right now, he would be the best player on this team while the Bobcats were drafting DJ Augstin. Because of horrible trades, the Bobcats didn't have a single pick in 2010.

Management is responsible for bad trades and bad scouting and this is what went wrong for the Bobcats the pas few years.

Without doing research on the draft years cause I really don't care much about the Bobcats but base on my memory Dj was okay in college but not a top 10 draft pick and Kemba is too small. I would have went bigger or possibly make a trade for future draft picks on a better class with the right deal.
