08:07 AM ET 04.26 | For his part, Mike Woodson said he's entitled to dine with whomever he likes. [Woodson] and Isiah Thomas met for dinner Tuesday night in Westchester, hours after Glen Grunwald got promoted as the permanent executive VP/GM, according to sources. Woodson, Thomas and Grunwald were all teammates on the Indiana University basketball club for three seasons. Thomas, fired by Florida International earlier this month, is seeking employment and has lobbied hard with owner James Dolan to try to get back to the Knicks in some capacity. Woodson and Thomas were with their wives and could be seen chowing down on Italian food and wine at Serafina in White Plains. Thomas has kept his residence in Purchase and has been there since getting the boot.

If there is ever a nuclear blast there will only be 3 things remaining on earth. 1. Cockroaches 2. Donald Trumps rug 3. Isiah Thomas

This has definitely changed my perception of Woodson from a likeable guy to a bonehead. Who the hell does he think he is? Even Dolan himself is not allowed to be seen with Isaiah in public... man let's cut him lose for stepping out of bounds. ISAIAH SHOULD BE DEAD TO KNICKS... what was he thinking?

Hey Woodson....this much I promise, the Knicks do not need Ike Thomas. Thomas is a person of very little class, and I certainly don't miss the days when the Knicks was in dead last. Mike you seem to have no fear, but your association with Thomas may cause you a short lived Knicks career. Mike here's a little advice, hanging with Thomas might seem nice, but if I were you my friend, before I do it again......I would definately think twice!

My question is why did Thomas get fired from Florida?? Did he trade away their good players and brought in a bunch of D1 and and1 players?

I understand your point but we're talking two different things here. Y're not a public figure so it's OK for you to chill with your homies. However if ur a Knicks coach you should know what not to do in public... and that's why Woody is wrong. You have to know your territory and play your cards right... so if y're Knicks coach you have to be arrogant or dumb to dine with Isaiah in Knicks territory... how stupid can you be? Man I dunno about this coach.. he's suspect.
