Prince wants Pistons to add veteran point guard

09:52 AM ET 04.29 | It's not a stretch to say Pistons small forward Tayshaun Prince is one of the better talent evaluators in the organization. As he walked out of the Pistons' locker room Thursday night following the season-ending victory over the 76ers, Prince first spoke of the need for an inside presence. Then, he offered an interesting observation. "Brandon Knight is our starting point guard and will continue to be, but hopefully we can get a veteran point guard to kind of mentor him a little bit," Prince said. "There can be times that me and Ben Wallace can mentor and help him out and whatnot, but I think if you have a point guard that's been through the wars, he can help him out a little bit better than we can."

Felton is out there on the market. If Dumars signs him. I'm sure Joe will over pay him. Just like he did for Gordon and Villanueva.

But really Tayshaun you didn't see the writing on the wall when you were a free agent? This team is rebuliding. It's not going to win in your remaining playing days. The free agents that Joe signed back in 08 have failed. Stuckey was over valued by Dumars. Stuckey is a combo guard that has peaked. He's never going to be what Joe think he should be.

If you wanted to win. Then you should have signed with a contender when you were a free agent. So stop your bitching and play.

What about Lamar Odom? Oh sorry. His just a head case foward. Not a point guard.

The Detroit Pistons kill me, they suck just enough to NOT get a franchise changing draft pick year after year. Thanks for that!
