Raiders work out former Colts backup QB

08:02 AM ET 05.01 | Not many would have forecast this particular trio of quarterbacks. Matt Leinart won't be the only quarterback auditioning for the Raiders this week. Jim Sorgi, a former backup in Indianapolis to Peyton Manning, will work out Tuesday in Alameda, according to the Twitter account of his agent, Matt Brei. Sorgi hasn't played since 2008. Both ESPN and the NFL Network have termed Leinart's eventual arrival on the roster as the backup quarterback to Carson Palmer as "likely." Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie said the signing aspect was "secondary," and that the club wanted to evaluate Leinart's health following a broken left collarbone last season as a member of the Houston Texans.

Sorgi still has a better chance of making the team than Leinart. VY is still out there and he's got Andy's support as a starter. Mort Anderson was laughing about that on ESPN last night. "Andy's such a nice guy."

Who woulda thought that the great mid-2000s USC teams would not have produced a single great offensive skill player. Leinart is straight horrible, Bush has been way underwhelming for a 2nd overall pick, LenDale White hahahahaha, and Dwayne Jarrett did he even play in one game?
