08:14 AM ET 05.01 | The Angels are slumping and the Dodgers are streaking. The smiles should be wide and plentiful. The Dodgers' new owners should take over this week, meeting the media and greeting fans and officially liberating the team from its dysfunctional era. What could possibly wipe the smiles off the faces of Magic Johnson, Stan Kasten and Mark Walter? How about the Angels moving into a new ballpark in downtown Los Angeles, three miles from Dodger Stadium? ... AEG is the local expert at building and financing sports facilities. Several of the Dodgers bidders spoke with AEG about a possible new ballpark. Magic and Co. did not. Arte Moreno apparently did.

If NY can handle having the Yankees & Mets, then I don't see why LA can't handle having both the Dodgers and Angels.

it appears to be, that the halos are getting out of the slumping rash, but as long their hitting coach, hatcher remains in the halos,,,, the team would continue to have hugh weakness in their offense!!

RAYS, were playing great baseball, but without longoria, gone for more than two months, it would take a miracle to keep those pesky rays about water!!!
