Oregon's 'good' problem

08:18 AM ET 05.01 | Oregon has a percolating dilemma on its hands. Marcus Mariota may not have won Oregon's starting quarterback job quite yet, but the redshirt freshman certainly looks like a veteran ready to lead one of the nation's most high-powered offenses. The Ducks concluded spring drills with their annual spring game Saturday in front of 44,129 fans at Autzen Stadium in Eugene (shown on ESPN3.com), and fans were finally able to get a glimpse of the competition that has been the focus of the team's spring practice season -- a duel that was kept under wraps by coy head coach Chip Kelly. But when the curtain was lifted, the 6-4, 196-pound Mariota certainly outplayed sophomore Bryan Bennett.

Ducks will beat U$C like a drum.

That is what I was thinking last year.

Quacks GOOD problem is they play in the Pac 12

LOL, yeah that can't hurt!!! I'm just glad that the Ducks don't have to play "powerhouses" like Tennessee, Miss, Miss State, Kentucky, Vandy and Auburn!!!!

Top 2 bottom.. if u lines up the SEC vs the Pac.. SEC would win the majority of the games.. Quacks already found that out

You could be right and it would be fun to find out in the future. Yes the Ducks did find out the last two years against Auburn and LSU, but that was in the past. IMO, the Ducks would do just great against any team in the SEC, except maybe LSU and Bama, if they were to play "THIS" year. Also I believe that team like Stanford Oregon and USC could hold their own against "ANY" team in the SEC, but that's just my opinion.

Don't sleep on the Hogs ths year....may be a dumpster fire in 2013 and 2014 but this team is good, fosused and has a chip on their shoulders.

DA interim coach will cost them a game or 2, but I still see a 9 possibly 10 win season out of them.

Gump and LUS are elite, USC jr and Arky are very good, IMHO. Not sure about UGA....just don't follow them close enought to have an opinion.

Sadly, I have to agree with your assessment at this time.I'd STILL love to see Barkley and Co. line up against the top SEC defenses to see what happens, tho. ;-)

I would LOVE to see and undefeated U$C play an undefeated SEC champ in the MNCG this year. Great way to end the BcS.

Playoff's....playoffs?!??! Did you say Play-off?

Are you saying that teams like Miss, Miss State, Vandy, Tenn, Kentucky (IMO, all bottom dellers) are better than the bottom dellers in the 12 PAC?? IMO, Stanford, Oregon and USC are just as good or better than any team in the SEC, except maybe LSU and Bama.
