08:21 AM ET 05.01 | With another draft in the books, it's not too early to start thinking about prospects for 2013. [Getting] to know next year's collection of prospects in May and June is refreshing. The same games examined multiple times in anticipation of this draft become almost brand new, as the focus changes to different matchups and areas of the field. ... Running Backs: 1. *Marcus Lattimore, South Carolina, 6-0/218 ... Even though Lattimore is coming off a left knee injury, he is the most talented back in the country. The depth here is severely lacking in terms of elite talent, though the speed of [Kenjon Barner] and [Andre Ellington] and power of [Montee Ball] and [Christine Michael] (if he can stay healthy) will intrigue scouts.

The difference between 1st round and 6th round will be avioding injury for Mr. Lattimore. Will also probably be the difference between 9 and 11 wins for SCAR.

I'd put Monte, and his 32 TD's, right up there with Lattimore.

I kinda like a guy named Knile Davis.....think you got to mention him if you're going 5 deep in RB's that will be drafted next year.

He isnt going 2nd... even if he proves his knee is fine..

I think the biggest determinate is how does TR do in Cleveland. If he doesn't set the world aflame there, I don't think you'll ever see another back go in the top[ 10.

Stats keep proving RB's are just another guy in the NFL, and usually only for 3-5 years.

So, will SOS win the SEC this year?

Only if 'Bama and LSU decide not to play football this season.

Marcus Lattimore is an extremely talented back, but my favorite memory of him will always be Greg Reid knocking him out cold in the 2010 Chick-Fil-A Bowl.

I'd love to post the video for everyone to remember, but I don't know how. Anyone wanna help?
