08:17 AM ET 05.02 | Boston has some decisions to make, almost immediately -- from calling up Aaron Cook, to skipping a Clay Buchholz start, to the short-term future of third baseman Kevin Youkilis, who has missed three games with stiffness in his lower back. The Red Sox recalled shortstop prospect Jose Iglesias from Pawtucket to give them an additional infielder last night against the Oakland Athletics, a move that left them with 11 pitchers after reliever Junichi Tazawa was optioned to Triple A. Youkilis appeared to be getting ready to pinch-hit in the ninth inning of [Tuesday] night's 5-3 loss to Oakland, but Valentine said it merely was a decoy. Asked if Youkilis will need to go on the disabled list, Valentine didn't rule it out.

Send him to Pawtuckett ...get him on NutriSystem or Weight Watchers....hopefully he can drop 25-30 lbs...then maybe his back won't be so creaky.....and then maybe just maybe you might get another 2 maybe 3 years out of him...otherwise...cutbait already and get rid of the slob.
