Chizik identifies weak link in recruiting

08:21 AM ET 05.02 | This is a good year to be a talented linebacker who would like to play at Auburn. Auburn loaded up with 11 offensive linemen in its last two recruiting classes. Coach Gene Chizik will be focusing on another area in the 2013 signing class. "Linebacker is going to be a huge, huge priority for us moving forward," he said on the Smash Mouth radio show at 97.3 The Zone in Birmingham this morning. "We're a little thin there. That's one on the positions defensively we are the thinnest, so we're really going to have to ramp up our recruiting in terms of linebackers and the level of play at that position." Auburn is on its way to fill the void. Three of its eight commitments are linebackers.
