02:37 PM ET 05.02 | Nemanja Vidic's agent has sought to distance his client from the latest round of rumours linking him with an imminent move to Juventus. Vidic's rep says there is no truth in the current stories, with the Serbia international focused on his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury. "Vidic is still out with a cruciate ligament injury," Silvano Martina told tuttomercatoweb.com. "A future in Italy? You have to consider that he has a non-EU passport and that would make it difficult for him to arrive in Serie A. I can assure you that I have never spoken with Juventus about Nemanja."

Toon and Spuds win...

3 teams 2 spots. All you've gotta do is win your last two and you're in, don't choke this gooners (not confident about it not happening).

Think it's gonna be:
1) City
2) United
3) Arsenal
4) Tottenham

City grinds out a 1-0 or 2-1 win over Newcastle (though many say they will lose, who knows) and Totti pops up into 4th.

Damn. Seems Barca will sell Dani Alves at the end of the season. (To City?) Hope the Barca brass knows what it is doing.

That's nuts. Trying to cut down on payroll? That's almost as big as losing Pep. Not too many fullbacks can get up the way he does. Shet, he's got more assists in the league than Xavi, Iniesta, or Cesc.

Unless Barca stick strictly to a 3-4-3 next season, i don't see how this can be a good move.

It can't be a good move, I hate it. Unless the buyer makes a Godfather offer (I read he could be sold to the Russian team that bought Eto'o and Roberto Carlos) it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense.

If Spurs finishes 4th, that essentially guarantees that Chelski will win the UCL - thus ensuring the eternal heartbreak that is part of being a Spurs fan.
I dislike 'em both - go Toon, and go Bayern. Seeing Spurs and Chelski miss out on UCL would be nice.
If Toon gets 4th - they will have earned it (chokefest at Wigan aside) - going thru Chelski and Sheik City late in the season to get it done.

Haha, nicely done.

Vidal played well for Juve - one good chance he blew, another tough chance he pulled just wide. But it was Pirlo with the beautiful diagonal ball setting up their only goal. Played well again yesterday.

Does this SI guy read the boards? Strange........Unknown, do you work for SI?

They are tired of his antics. But if they sell him, they'll have to buy a replacement for him, to go opposite Jordi Alba. There is no way our academy right back is ready.

Alves now says he wants to stay until the end of his contract (2015). Hope the brass at the club listens. I say Alba on the left, Alves on the right, and screw the 3-4-3. If Thiago gets butthurt about lack of playing time, ship HIM.
